I’m Beth Child, Bountiful resident of 25 years, current City Council member, avid walker, and Blacksmith s’mores ice cream lover. I have always been all-in on supporting local schools, events, and building relationships in the community, but in the past year, I have been immersed in Bountiful City on a different level. In 2024, I was appointed to serve on the City Council after the tragic loss of Councilman Jesse Bell.

Stepping in mid-term required many hours of study and work to acclimate to city projects already in progress. In the process, I’ve learned how each city department functions, what it takes to fiscally responsibly run a mid-size city, and what is important to Bountiful residents. Listening to and advocating for members of the Bountiful community has been the most fulfilling part of the job.

Thank you for electing me on Nov. 4, 2025! I am excited and ready to continue serving this great community. I will work to preserve the best of Bountiful and thoughtfully plan for an economically strong, resilient, and sustainable future.
